I baked this the other day.
Such a shame you have to eat it quickly.
It always disappoints me that the cake is never the same after that first fresh slice, it just doesn't keep well. That's the downside of home baking I guess, no preservatives. I suppose the plus side is you get to eat lots of cake under the excuse that it "just doesn't keep well".

  1. I have the same problem with home baking, just go to be eaten before it goes off. Now just need to remember not to bake three sets of things in one day and then proceed to moan three days later how fat I am getting because of all the home baking I am eating!
